Install Azahar on Linux ARM Device

Azahar

Azahar is an open-source 3DS emulator project based on Citra.

It was created from the merging of PabloMK7's Citra fork and the Lime3DS project, both of which emerged shortly after Citra was taken down.
The goal of this project is to be the de-facto platform for future development.

IMPORTANT: You have to disable hardware shaders for playable performance:
Azahar Menu -> Emulation -> Configure -> Graphics -> Advanced -> Turn OFF Enable hardware shader

To run from menu: Games -> Azahar
To run from terminal: flatpak run org.azahar_emu.Azahar

Fortunately, Azahar is very easy to install on your Linux ARM Device in just two steps.

  1. Install Pi-Apps - the best app installer for Linux ARM Device.
  2. Use Pi-Apps to install Azahar.

Compatibility

For the best chance of this working, we recommend using the latest LTS of Ubuntu or Debian from your hardware manufacturer.
Azahar will only run on an Ubuntu/Debian ARM64 OS. Pi-Apps will not let you install Azahar on an Ubuntu/Debian ARM32 OS.
